What You've Missed In The Past Year
Well it's been a year since my previous post, and a lot has happened since. My whole 9th grade school year has come and gone since then, and I am starting 10th grade tomorrow. The summer was good and plentiful including, Creation '09, camping at Douthat State Park, a visit to Pennsylvania, all staples of my summers. It is currently Labor Day and I am quite tired because I attempted to watch the entire Back to the Future trilogy last night but dozed of at the third movie.
I am starting school at Hampton Christian tomorrow which should be cool, and I am quite exited. So it's the last day of summer and it's raining buckets :( how lame.
Anyway I am proud to see that my mother has a new look for her blog designed by my friend Brian.
That's all for now folks!

New England Quest
As my devoted readers know, my mother's cousin is getting married, so my family has agreed to attend the wedding held in the great state of Maine. I don't know my mom's cousin, (or most of the people going to the wedding), but i'm sure i'll have fun. We are going to stay in a nice cottage, and go camping in Acadia National Park.
On the way to Maine. we will hit all the New England states that I have not been to, meaning that I will be one of the privlaged 13 year-olds to visit 44 states. We are still putting togather all the plans for food, accomadations, and transportations. But we have a week before our departure, so i'm sure we'll figure it all out by then.
By the way, sorry for the delay on this post. I have a hard time keeping up with my blog. So i'm not always on blogger. If you need to talk to me i'm usually on Facebook and every onc in a while, Myspace.

Summertime
Hey everyone! I'm back after a huge lull of blogging. It's been a month or two since my last post, but I will try to stay on track during the summer. On that note I am exited to say I will be going to the Creation Fest for the first time this year. I was going to go two years ago, but that was the sad year when it got stormed out. Last year we went on our cross-country trip, so Creation was excluded from our summer schedule. But this year I will finally get to go to Creation. Unfortunatly, My first Creation will be without Relient K (my favorite band).
Also sometime this summer I will be going to Maine for my mother's, cousin's wedding. There we will stay at a nice cottage, and do some camping. After this trip I will be one of the very few people that have been able to go to 44 of the 50 states before the age of 14! After this, the only states I will have not been to are: North Dakota, Alaska, Hawaii, Nebraska, Kansas, and Florida (who hasn't been to Florida?). Hope to hear from you all.

Glory at the Gardens
For the next three Sundays after church, a bunch of people from our church will be heading up to Busch Gardens to see some christian concerts. Also before and after the concerts, me and a few freinds might catch some rides, maybe Apollo's Chariot or something.
We really want those seats filled though, because a guy in my parent's sunday school class works at Busch, and pulled alot of strings to get this to happen, so we want sucess for him. These concerts for the next three Sundays will include bands like Pillar, Third Day, and Thousand Foot Crutch, and a bunch more bands.

Mom's Books
As my followers may know, I was ashamed to not have read my mom's books. Well I have completed "The Chrysalis" (great book), and I am a good way into her sequal "Drink the Rain" (so far also great). So now I don't have to live under the shame of not reading at least the first of her books. If you have not read "the Chrysalis" then read it.

Busch Gardens
Today for a fun day to conclude project 757, we went to Busch. We split up into groups and I hung out with 4 other kids, and we rode a lot of roller coasters. I never thought i'd enjoy roller coasters so much, but after riding the ones i hadn't ridden before, i loved them. We ended up riding Big Bad Wolf once, Lochness Monster twice, Alpenguist twice, Apollo's Chariot three times, and Griffon three times. My favorite is defenantly Alpenguist.
Some where inbetween all that we ate lunch at the Fest Hause in Germany. We rode The Tradewind in Italy a few times, and Corkscrew Hill in Ireland. I had so much fun, and I had no idea I loved roller coasters so much.

757 Day One
Today i did my first day of project 757 [which for those of you who are just joining the group of readers, project 757 is a teen community service project for my church]. We all arrived at church just aroud 8:30 this morning. Today there were three groups, one group went to the food bank, another went to the Carenet pregnancy center, and the last group stayed at church, [this is the group I was in].
We helped our custodian take out trash and do other various tasks. then we took a lunch break. Then we drove to a Wal-mart parking lot a picked up trash. All the groups met back at the church student center around 3:30 PM. It was a good, productive day. Tommorow they will switch up the teams, and the places people go. {hope I go to the food bank.}
